Kenny Roberts

Technical Director

As Technical Director, Kenny brings over 18 years of experience of designing, building and commercialising large scale networks. He is responsible for the network design and deployment. Previously Kenny was Technical Director at Spiritel PLC which acquired 13 companies before successful trade sale to Daisy in 2010, prior to this Kenny work at Level 3 Communications deploying, designing and supporting large scale fibre networks.

Kenny holds an MBA from Henley Management College and an BSc in Physics from Kings College London.

Graham Leach

Business Director

Graham has over 20 year’s experience of technology infrastructure delivery. Following a successful 23 year military career in the Royal Corps of Signals, Graham joined Global Crossing as the Service Delivery Director. From there he joined Serco and was the Project Director (Infrastructure) for the build of the National Traffic Control Center, before moving to be Managing Director of Peek Traffic Ltd, a traffic technology company. He successfully grew Peek Traffic and took it through a trade sale to Imtech BV, a multi-national infrastructure company.
Following that Graham joined Geo Networks, a private equity backed telecoms company, where he ran the Fibrespeed Project, a joint venture with the Welsh Government delivering broadband services in North Wales, before becoming Geo’s Chief Operating Officer prior to its sale to Zayo.
Within NextGen Access, Graham focusses on business planning, commercial activities, project delivery and operational support.

Giancarlo Ferro

Finance Director

As Finance Director, Giancarlo brings over 25 years of experience in the Telecommunication and Technology sector at international level. He’s responsible to define and support the ambitious financial growth plan of Nexgenaccess in the coming years. After having set up the fundamental order and financial operational process during the first months, he’s now focused in evaluating and supporting the commercial cases with a strong focus on cash and return of investments, so to ensure value creation for our investors and customers.
Before joining Nextgenaccess, Giancarlo has been CFO and FD at European level in various business functions in COLT, supporting sales growth with a strong believe in Financial Business partnering. He also had the responsibility of the Capital Investment for the full company, improving Capital accounting at project level and ensuring the planned return of the investment capital for the shareholder/s. He’s been involved and led some of the major Corporate Governance projects like Selling/exiting the IT Business Unit to Aurelius, separation of the Data Centre business and M&A. In the early phase of his career he worked in Telecom Italia and in a centre of research where he contributed to define and create the first fibre optical networks in Italy. A CFO/FD with a strong passion and background in technology.

Paul Botwright

Sales Director

As Sales Director, Paul brings 30 years of experience in developing and growing sales channels and has been responsible in creating a multi-million pound pipeline of business for nextgenaccess.
Most recently, he was the VP responsible for Colt Technology’s US division , focusing on developing and growing the OTT/Cloud vendors, Wholesale and indirect markets.
Prior to this, Paul spent 25+ years in senior sales and leadership roles within Europe and the US working for Colt Technology and BT. He holds a BEng Hons degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Steve Heapes

Business Development Manager

As Business Development manager, Steve brings over 20 years of experience in the Telecommunication sector. He’s responsible for growing business for both new and existing customers for NexGenaccess. Developing technical and commercial solutions that meet the customers’ needs, now and in the future.
Before joining Nextgenaccess, Steve has been a BDM for Geo/Zayo working with mobile operators and international telecom companies. Prior to this, he worked in Vodafone on both national and international transmission networks managing teams in Operational, Design and Strategy departments.
In the early phase of his career he worked in BT covering installation & maintenance of local telecom access networks

Daniel O'Sullivan

Digital Director

Digital Director, Daniel brings 20 years of experience building new media and digital projects and is responsible for transforming and developing the website and digital strategy.
Most recently, he served as Country Website Manager at Apple, a company at the forefront of digital technology.
Prior to this, Daniel spent 15 years in various digital agencies in leadership positions working for multi-national organizations. He holds an BA in Fine Art.
