Bob Falconer – Non-Executive Director

Bob has had a long and successful career in the telecoms sector. From 2003 to 2018 he was the CEO of Gamma Communications plc, successfully growing that business from near start-up to a market cap of over £750m, following a successful listing on AIM in 2014. Prior to Gamma, Bob was a director of Racal Telecom and was a key part of the team that acquired the privatised assets of British Rail Telecom in 1996 and sold the expanded business to Global Crossing for £1bn in 1999. His earlier career was as global telecoms manager for ICI (prior to the demerger of Zeneca - now AstraZeneca). He has a background in telcoms R&D, is a Fellow of the IET and is a graduate of Heriot-Watt University.

Mark Weller – Managing Director

As Managing Director, Mark originally trained as a property surveyor getting involved in the Cellular deployment of analogue mobile networks in 1993. Mark set up Cellular Design Services Ltd in 1995 growing the company from scratch to a turnover of £10m in 2003 operating in the UK, Holland and Belgium. Mark successfully sold CDS to Interregnum a Merchant Bank in 2002.
In 2012 Mark led the acquisition of the Rail business Alan Dick Ltd from Lloyds Development Capital having sourced the funding from Core Investments. Mark was instrumental in growing the business from a turnover of £4.4m to £22m completing a successful trade sale to Panasonic in June 2016.

Kenny Roberts - Technical Director

As Technical Director, Kenny brings over 18 years of experience of designing, building and commercialising large scale networks. He is responsible for the network design and deployment. Previously Kenny was Technical Director at Spiritel PLC which acquired 13 companies before successful trade sale to Daisy in 2010, prior to this Kenny work at Level 3 Communications deploying, designing and supporting large scale fibre networks.

Kenny holds an MBA from Henley Management College and an BSc in Physics from Kings College London.

Don McAuley - Sales Director

Sales Director

As Sales Director, Don brings over 25 years of experience in the telecoms market, both from the commercial and technical side, growing sales revenue and opportunities in the wholesale and channel sectors.

Most recently, Don was VP Global Sales for Interoute (now GTT) responsible for the global carrier and cloud wholesale markets, with previous roles heading up Infrastructure Products, Technical Sales and Sales Engineering.

Prior to this, Don has had engineering and design roles with a number of equipment vendors and other carriers. He holds a BEng Hons degree in Electrical and Electronic Systems from University of Ulster.

Paul Botwright - Sales Director - Wholesale

As Sales Director, Paul brings 30 years of experience in developing and growing sales channels and has been responsible in creating a multi-million pound pipeline of business for nextgenaccess.
Most recently, he was the VP responsible for Colt Technology’s US division , focusing on developing and growing the OTT/Cloud vendors, Wholesale and indirect markets.
Prior to this, Paul spent 25+ years in senior sales and leadership roles within Europe and the US working for Colt Technology and BT. He holds a BEng Hons degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Steve Heapes - Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager

As Business Development manager, Steve brings over 20 years of experience in the Telecommunication sector. He’s responsible for growing business for both new and existing customers for NexGenaccess. Developing technical and commercial solutions that meet the customers’ needs, now and in the future.
Before joining Nextgenaccess, Steve has been a BDM for Geo/Zayo working with mobile operators and international telecom companies. Prior to this, he worked in Vodafone on both national and international transmission networks managing teams in Operational, Design and Strategy departments.
In the early phase of his career he worked in BT covering installation & maintenance of local telecom access networks

Caroline Lueder - General Counsel

Caroline has been a corporate-commercial lawyer for over 25 years. Caroline brings extensive commercial and company law experience to Nextgenaccess, she spent over 12 years at City law firm Simmons & Simmons, and more recently was VP Head of the commercial legal team at Colt Technology Services. Caroline oversaw all the commercial legal work across Europe, Asia and the US and developed and helped implement innovative ideas in the legal department.
Caroline is bilingual (French/English) and is also a graduate Company Secretary with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA); she has experience with a wide range of commercial and corporate matters including joint ventures, outsourcing and services contracts and asset/share sale and purchase agreements, particularly in the technology field.

Daniel O'Sullivan - Digital Director

Digital Director

Digital Director, Daniel brings 20 years of experience building new media and digital projects and is responsible for transforming and developing the website and digital strategy.
Most recently, he served as Country Website Manager at Apple, a company at the forefront of digital technology.
Prior to this, Daniel spent 15 years in various digital agencies in leadership positions working for multi-national organizations. He holds an BA in Fine Art.

Jeff Carter - Operations Director

As Operations Director Jeff is responsible for the implementation, delivery and maintenance of the Nextgenaccess network as it continues to grow. With over 30 years working in the utility industry including Gas and Telecommunications Jeff brings a wealth of experience in the management of turnkey projects from design to delivery and subsequent Maintenance activities.
Prior to joining Nextgenaccess Jeff worked for 17 years at Level 3 Communications managing the UK Operations team responsible for all aspects of Operations including over 1,000 miles of external network, 3 x Data Centres, Facilities, Service delivery, Building Adds and Contract Management

Gary Hall - Project Manager

As Project Manager, Gary brings over 20 years experience working within the Telecommunications Industry. He is responsible for the management and delivery of large scale fibre network projects, to customer's time, budget & quality driven requirements, and expectations.
Prior to joining Nextgenaccess Gary had been responsible for successfully delivering an extensive portfolio of projects for a number of Telecommunication providers including Global Crossing, Geo/Zayo, Vodafone and Fujitsu.
A focused individual he is motivated by delivering projects to meet each customer's required business needs and outcomes.

Jo Wade

Financial Controller

Jo is a CIMA qualified accountant working in the finance team at NextGenAccess. She has experience in a variety of industries including pharmaceutical, construction and music.
She has also worked for over nine years in the telecoms industry including roles at Nortel Networks, Video Networks, The Cloud Networks and Tiscali. She holds a BSc in Mathematics.

Androulla Roussos - Administration Manager

Androulla comes to Nexgenaccess from a retail background.
She has over 15 years experience in customer service, sales and store management in supervisory roles in a fast-paced retail environment. Flagship store manager in central London Androulla has vast experience reacting quickly to new customer-focused products and services whilst guarding brand values.
Androulla is Nextgenaccess’s Admin Manager overseeing the administrative operations of day-to-day functions and supporting staff.

Steve Mackervoy - Channel Sales Manager

Steve has been in the Telecommunications industry for over 20 years starting with Mercury Communications in the City of London. Steve then spent 5 years as Sales Director for Universal Office Automation, a Hertford based telecoms reseller, where he delivered an eight-fold turnover growth in 5 years. He set up Beyond Telecommunications Ltd in 2002, a channel focussed operation selling telecoms and data services through a network of IT resellers. Steve developed and ran this business until achieving a successful trade-sale to TM Solutions in 2015.
Steve joins NextGenAccess to lead Channel Sales. He holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies.
