Regulatory Licenses

Regulatory Licenses and Code Powers granted to Nextgenaccess Ltd.

NextGenAccess has been granted Code Powers by Ofcom, which now allows it to dig the highways and byways of the UK for the purpose of providing telecommunications services.
Nextgenaccess has also been granted a license by Openreach to use its UK duct and pole network. Nextgen joins only a handful other communications providers in the UK to given this access to the Openreach access.


OFCOM

  • Ofcom is the regulator and competition authority for the UK communications industries. It regulates the TV and radio sectors, fixed line telecoms, mobiles, postal services, plus the airwaves over which wireless devices operate.

PIA/DPA – Openreach/BT

  • Physical Infrastructure Access (PIA)
  • Permission to deploy our own cables, apparatus and networks in Openreach ducts and poles and is known as Physical Infrastructure Access (PIA).
